The Center for Disease Control has recommended the use of cloth face masks to help fight the spread of COVID-19.
This face mask is made from 100% polyester and includes two ear loops with adjustable grommets for a comfortable fit.
The printed area of the mask is approximately 7" wide by 5" tall. This mask fits well on adult mens' faces without the grommets but, due to the adjustable grommets, can be worn snuggly by adult women, as well.
Please note - this is NOT a surgical grade mask. It is not intended for any medical or commercial uses, whatsoever. It is a simple, cloth mask designed for everyday use to cover your mouth when out in public. The mask should not be used in any medical or surgical setting.
We make no warranties that the mask prevents infections or the transmission of viruses or diseases.

Art is a story and painting is my way of telling the story. Art is the most profound means of storytelling - a single painting can speak personally to as many people who view it - it has the ability to communicate exactly what the Viewer needs whether it be inspiration, introspection or the simple joy of looking upon something pleasing to the eye. We share our stories with others to communicate, to form connections and show our capacity for empathy and good will - every story carries within it a part of the author of that story as an assurance of their sincerity in the effort - every story has meaning, and the stories told with art allow the Viewer to create their own meaning in addition to that which inspired the Artist to create...

Anthony - Thanks for the kind words! What's interesting (which alas does not translate at all in the photo) is I used something know as Interference Colors in painting the snow on the Inukshuk - a sort of clear glaze that as your viewing angle changes, the sheen on the snow shifts from blue to green to purple, much in the same way the snow sparkles in the sunlight - it's a very cool (pardon the pun) and adds a sort of Spirit to the Inukshuk (and the moment)

Thank you Lynn - it was an enjoyable challenge to try to create the proper atmosphere for that environment - I'm glad the effort came across in a positive way. Thanks for noticing!!

Thank you ALL for your kind words regarding this artwork - I believe the title (Crossroads) is significant in many ways, not only personally with regard to artistic intent for the next decade but also in how it applies to the subject of this painting. The concept is in the definition of the title ("a point at which a crucial decision must be made that will have far-reaching consequences"), as it reflects current realties - and I say "current" because as the definition of "crossroads" suggests, we can change that reality - the little stone figure (the Inukshuk) represents Man's part in all of this as having the power to choose/point the course of history to a more favorable outcome for all...
