How masterfully you've conveyed the soul of Badger! A dynamic, expressive and captivating painting! v/f

Thank you for those very kind words - those are the inspirations that let us know we are on the right path in our Artistic Journey! :)

In your painting of the Badger you captured the animals’ character….. You can see it in his eyes… And that is hard to do….. Excellent….
J W Baker replied:
Thank you Clifford - I have always thought that the Badger gets a bad rep, so it seemed appropriate to try to present Him from a different perspective... Thank you for seeing that different aspect! :)

Thank you Debbie - apparently there is one other person out there who thinks that Badgers are cool people too! : )

Helena - Badgers are cool 'people' - actually I'm working on a new series of paintings where you will see Badger soon (along with some other friends - Bear, Puma, Fox, Wolf & Eagle)

The only critter more likely to rip your face off would be a wolverine...they may look cute but they is mean, mean, mean! Badgers tore up my uncle's hunting cabin once. They ripped through everything...even the tin cans. They punctured them with their teeth: Slopped around in the mess, then dumped out flour, sugar and ground coffee. Oh yes, they peed all over, too. Mean, I tell you. :-D
